Steps:
Prepare the Rice:
Rinse the short-grain rice thoroughly to remove excess starch.
Cook the rice according to the package instructions, usually by adding water to the rice in a 1:1 ratio and letting it cook without covering until it's fluffy and sticky.
Once cooked, let the rice cool to room temperature.
Prepare the Nori:
Take out a nori sheet and place it flat on a bamboo mat or a clean surface.
Ensure the rough side of the nori is facing down.
